The poems were published in Ice-Floe. International Poetry of the Far North. Volume V, Number 1, Summer Solstice 2004.
The poems appear both in Icelandic and English, translated by Hallberg Hallmundsson.
The poems are:
Nokkrir dagar í október - A Few Days in October
Vetur - Winter
Winter
All the way here
through the open window
I hear the plaintive song
of the swans
through the darkness
and the quiet snowfall
as though a wing
were scraping
an ice-covered lake
Vetur
Alla leið hingað
inn um opinn gluggann
heyrist sárt kvakið
í álftunum
gegnum myrkrið
og hljóða snædrífuna
eins og vængur
sé dreginn eftir
ísi lagðri tjörn
