One night Fridmund the lighthouse keeper discovers that Castor, one of the twins in the constellation Gemini, has vanished. The stars in the sky are upset, not least his twin brother Pollux. Fridmund sets off with his dog on a voyage through space to find Castor and put him back where he belongs.
