Edmonton Poet Laureate, Mary Pinkoski, wrote this poem upon her first days of arrival in Reykjavík, Iceland. She performed it at the Reykjavík City Hall on February 5, 2015 as part of the Winter Lights Festival where she shared the stage with two Icelandic poets: Anton Helgi Jónsson and Elías Knörr. The show was called Light Seeps In.
